1. Eco
Clubs (School & College Clubs) :
Voice Eco Club is an extracurricular activity closely
connected to academics. This club helps students to know
Environmental and social issues in live nature as there are
many science clubs in schools but we hardly finds social
clubs. So voice for India club is in the nature of civic
enhancement and building a powerful vibrant Indian
citizen. This club has stipulated number of theory classes and
practical everything in an enjoyable nature. Finally a marks
card and a Certificate is issued.

2. Good
Drivers Club :
There is no escaping the fact that Bangalore traffic has
grown. And so has the associated problems – traffic jams, road
rage, accidents, fights, pollutions, health hazards etc. most
of these can be minimized with a good driving sense,
discipline and simple courtesy while driving/riding.
Unfortunately, the road sense is perceived to be literally
non-existent among Bangalore drivers. Each one blames the
other, thinking that he is Mr. Right, without actually knowing
what is right. So VOICE for India will introduce a “Good
Drivers Club and invite applications for membership. VOICE for
India will give extensive Training to its Members. So a member
of this club will be more aware of his responsibility and is
indeed a Good Driver and definitely has more road sense.

3. The
Elders Club :
The Elders Club is forum for bringing joy to our beloved grey
population in the area. The Elders have relatively more time
in their hands backed with tons of experience and knowledge.
They are ever willing towards proactive involvement in causes
that are close to their heart. They are indeed the perfect
candidates for VOICE. Spending time in mentally satisfying
issues is more a medical necessity for many elders, which can
be used for the twin advantage of addressing social issues in
their areas.

4. Afforest
ration/ Tree Plantation :
With Industrialization, growth in infrastructure and
mushrooming of houses & apartments all around the city, the
famed greenery of Bangalore has sadly taken a beating. The
existing trees/greenery is giving way to concrete structures.
Even the green belt is getting thinner. So VOICE for India
planned this Project. This is not necessarily the agenda of
our government alone, but we personally need to do it for the
generations to follow. For better effects, it should be done
in every street. If it appeals to your heart, you can register
as a volunteer for this program and be responsible for the
growth of the greenery in your block/unit and carry on the
related activities.

Blood &
Organ Donation : Blood Donation
is probably among the most commonly perceived social service
activity. In spite of many active clubs promoting Blood
Donations and many Blood Donation camps for Blood Donation,
there is a huge shortage of Blood. At VOICE, we propose to
collect the Blood group details of our members and their
willingness to donate Blood at the time of registration.
Thereafter, a Blood camp can be held say once in 6 months for
the block. With 300 houses and averaging 1 bottle per house,
we could talk about 500 bottles per block per year! And if we
can achieve 400 blocks, we can donate together 200000 bottles
per year! May be we can export it to other cities as well!
Organ
Donation :
At the demise of a person, many of his organs like Eyes, Skin,
Kidneys etc can be used for another person by surgery. Among
the organ donations, the most advertised is the eye donation.
It is believed that if implemented properly, blindness in
India will reduce by 80%.

6. Eco
friendly Green Bag :
“To reduce the impact of disposable plastic carry bags on the
environment by promoting reusable shopping bags and
integrating the participation of all stakeholders, by
providing a complete end-to-end solution”.
At VOICE,
we believe that the attempt should be user friendly, where key
tangible benefits to the stakeholders are critical to
sustained involvement. Our innovative strategy focuses on the
reusability of the shopping bag, with definite and measurable
benefits for all the stakeholders. Reduction in plastic carry
bags is possible only when we reduce it at source. Today, the
plastic carry bags are dispensed and disposed off without a
care, since there is no value associated with the bag, and
there are no alternatives that could be adopted.

7. Clean
Bangalore :
A clean city is what all of us aspire. Quality of life is
often judged by the aesthetic appeal of the people. We admire
the streets of Singapore & Dubai. Singapore is clean because
the rules have been made and the citizens follow them. In the
US, the people care for their society and surroundings.
Unfortunately, our Indian Citizens are not caring enough. So
we need to address this mindset issue. That can come only with
the involvement of many people who keep it consciously on top
of their minds. Who better to do it than VOICE members? As a
part of Clean Bangalore Project, the volunteers can take part
in any of the following activities/projects.
